.303 savage

Les speaks truthfully. Dave @ West Country Sports in Sundre had two or three boxes. IIRC he wanted $50 per box.
Keep an eye out at the gun shows, chances are they will gouge you the same amount.

If you reload, you might want to try goofing around with reforming 303 Brit or 30-40 Krag brass.

Les did you get your Bertram order sorted out?

By the way Darmil, welcome to CGN!

$50 is a steal, Epps had a couple boxes at $69.99.

I'm down to 4 or maybe 5 boxes of factory stuff, time to start hunting for some dies.

Last I heard Dougs dry to.

Oh yeah, Bertrams did me right, I had 40 pieces, out of those 40 I had 5 split, they sent me 100 newly made cases, had them insideof a month of sending them the pictures of the cases, would highly recommend Bertrams. Graf and Sons is supposed to start carrying the Brass later this month, if the do and you guys have any problems getting the brass, I can make a large order and send it to you. Will keep you updated, they are advertising 100 cases for 39.95. Les

Weren't the Graf boys reforming 303 Brit for their supply?

Joe, Lee makes some that even come with load data that I sent Les last summer. They aren't real pretty but they seem to work just fine, not to mention they are the most "cost effective" to boot.

If ya'll are wondering what Noel's talking about I have a small website for the 99 Fanatics. I have some load data on there and post loads that people send to me. The Web site is http://savagela.org take the time to let me know what you think and I am open to suggestions.Ruger #1 that is just Dirty, I could get 45 bucks a box here south of the border. MadDog are you on those boxes? Please tell me that you are. Les

I'd be getting a bit off topic here but I'd say you're doing a fine job on your webite. Best part is it's easy for greenhorn's like myself to ask questions and not feel intimidated. Great job Violater!

This is the latest I have on the 303 Brass from Graf & Sons

Les:

I have checked with one of my technicians and he said we are hoping to have this brass by late spring early summer and he said that it is going to be manufactured by Jamison International.

no but i didnt but am sure there is a bit
i know of a few different guys who bought some there
But yes back to the high price of the shells
i came across 2 unopen boxes of western silver tips in mint shape , that where locked in an old ammo box . So i bought an old 1899, take down that was at a local gun shop ,i knew it was there for over 6 years it had a price tag of $199.99 so i offered the boss $20 as a joke and he said O.K. as he made a joke about never finding ammo. well i ended up selling the gun and ammo for $400 to a collector, and only because of the ammo

Accuracy plus in Peterborough had a case or so a while ago check out there web site. they were Imperial 190 KKSP sweeeeeeet! I think they were $39 (Not sure). Good luck

I just use 30-30 brass as is. Run it through the .303 Savage dies, load it up and shoot. I use mainly cast bullets so not much pressure. I also bought some new Jamison brass but a lot of the cases split. I was using the same loads that I use in old S.A. Corp. brass that must be 70 years old and reloaded countless times.
