I don't have the opportunity to get on here much anymore, and threads like this make it hard to bother.
Headshots on big game are for the uninitiated and those who are bereft of any physiological knowledge....
For all you Head Shot Heroes out there.... take up Quilting or mebee Badminton... these are the sports for you.
I'm serious again.

A couple of years ago, I hit a black bear with a 30.06 180 gr first shot at about 80 yards....it was still moving so I lined up a head shot for the second round ....... bang....big pink mist ......and dead bear.

The bear, too, would rather have had a bottle in front of him...
