I'm not saying quality is cheap, completely the opposite. They have lasted this long for a reason and are a great solid rifle. I'm saying I got mine given to me as probably lots of other people have too. Value wise, you can find them for sale everywhere for a bargain too compared to buying an equivalent rifle to do the same job.

I think they were a casualty of marketing by the big manufacturers and marketing of the next best calibre.

If they didn't keep selling new guns they would go out of business.
