Two boxes. Broad arrow marked, cardboard. Any thoughts on value. Fellow has them and wants a fair price. I'm not sure what to offer him?

Chances are, more than likely it's berdan primed corrosive and not reloadable so one shot deal. You don't say how many rounds per box so tough to price that way. Probably worth 40 to 50 cents per round.
If you can determine a year and which factory produced it we might be able to tell better if it's as above or if you're lucky, boxer primed & hence reloadable in which case maybe a little more per round?
 
I have taken the berdan brass and drilled the spent primer out, drilled flash hole in the case thru the primer hole and reloaded the brass about 5 times. being broad arrow marked, they may be original ammo issued to the PCMR during late WWll.

Canadian wartime .303 BR is noncorrosive, reloadable and reliable. Buy it!
 
Defence Industries Canada hs DI made the noncorrosive Boxer primed. Dominion Arsenal hs DAC/I\ copper primer was corrosive Berdan.
