Has anybody found any published load data for the 303 British using the Lee 185gn GC bullet. I realize we can modify existing loads for either heavier or lighter bullets, but looking for something specific for the 185. Luckily it drops at .313 and actually weighs 185gr when using alloy. Have not had a chance to check in the new Lyman 4th Edition Cast bullet Handbook (havnt seen one yet)
Thanks in advance

Thanks, I am familiar with those threads. Just wondering if anybody on here has experience with this bullet or found data other than that.

My no4 likes 29 gr of h4895 and my no1 prefers 31. Try starting at 27 and go from there if your using h4895. What powders u got on hand. I've found that for the enfields you'll suffer a lot of heartbreak finding that right load but when u do it'll be worth it.

Terrific guys thanks for that. The advice I received from Hodgdons was to use the jacketed data start loads and all would be fine, but I know better than that. As for powders, I have Varget, H4895, IMR3031, IMR4227, Red Dot, Unique, just to name a few.
Cheers
