I have zero components or dies. But I am in no great hurry to load for mine anyway.
I've got 2 single shot rifles now. Gonna have to go on a bear hunt with those some of these days.
I've got the .45-70 Remington Rolling Block for close in work and the .303Brit for 'long' range shooting.![]()
I had a Pedersoli copy of the .45-70 Remington Rolling Block but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. Presently in it's place I now have the unlimited time wise 'loan' of a Pedersoli Sharpes in .45-70 from a shooting buddy. Down the road I hope to purchase it from him.
Granted, the Lee Enfield action isn't the strongest and in some cases does have head space issues but with a little effort this can be eliminated or greatly reduced and become a non issue. Checking and determining head space and changing to an appropriate sized bolt head will help considerably as will only neck sizing the brass. Doing this, my 303Br. brass life in my Jungle Carbines may not be 'quite' as good but for the most part, compares with brass life in other calibres I have.
I guess if one wants the ultimate in accuracy in a rifle, it's almost impossible to beat what you can get from a 'quality' bolt action. My buddy that has 'lent'
