Had a great day letting the junior rifle kids and parents play with our toys at the Selkirk range on Sunday . But noticed two constant problems. Some mag's would not feed shells properly from the left side of the mag. The bolt would not pick them up but functioned properly when grabbing a shell from the op rod side. This happened intermittently. The second problem was when I removed an empty mag the bolt went forward on its own. I've bedded this stock yet this hasn't happened until now. Just swabbed the barrel last night but will pull it apart tonight. Any ideas.....Bob

Well... Mags that I have a "problem" with don't stick around... In this case, I'd contact Marstar if that's who you got the mags from... The feed issue and the bolt hold open issue could both be mag problems... Try keeping track of the mags when you use them and sort out the problem ones...

Cheers
Jay

I had this problem and had to file down the mags a bit where they lock in. Now almost free of problems but I think I will still have to do some adjustments, or get better mags.

Cleaned both last night, not enough carbon to cause what I think would be a problem. Op rod on the one moved with no problem but did notice where it might have been hitting some bedding compound where the op rod gets pinned. Have trimmed that away. Next trip to the range I will mark the mags that give me problems and go from there....Bob
