Hi, just wondering if anyone has used the 305 Trapper (.22mag) and what its like for accuracy? Have been thinking about one of these for a while and just curious if the accuracy was there and also if anyone has chrony'd to see how much velocity you are losing with the shorter barrel if any? Let me know what you think. It just seems like it would be a great little truck gun that would mostly see plinking and gophers etc..

Pretty good out to 100m with a scope. Doesn't like cheap winchester, but good with any CCI.

Need one? I'll sell you this one if you'll use it. Poor thing is just sitting in the safe..........lol.

It looks like a fun rifle, and I personally love having a .22WMR in the collection. In my opinion though...I don't find .22WMR to be an inherently accurate caliber to begin with. At 105 yards, off a rest, a REALLY good group for me is just inside the 1" ring. Average would be more like 1-1/4" or a hair over. Still, I love the punch it has for a rimfire, and have no plans of ever getting rid of it. I'd say as a (noisy) plinker and a gopher ripper-upper, it would be a dandy rifle to have.
