Anyone out there have lots of experience loading this round. I am going to start working up some loads for my .308 w/ lapua brass, varget, and Fed 210m primers. Any noticable benefit to using the moly coated round? Anyone have better luck with another powder?

From what I hear the 154gr Lapua Scenar kinda likes to kiss the lands? Any feed back on this?

Thanks

Lots more questions:

If you seat back from the lands do your groups fall apart?

When you seat them against the lands, do they fit in your mags?

Neck tension with Moly vs Non Moly, I am considering purchasing a set of Redding Bushing dies. Good friend recommends the following; with non moly round go .002 smaller than loaded round, moly is .003. Then add another .001 to allow for spring back. Any recommendations or comments on this?

Are most neck sizing the case, full length sizing or a combination of both as you shoot the case several times? What kind of neck sizing dies are people having luck with? Full length dies as well?
Recommendations on both please.

Thanks again!

For me, I shoot these loads in a single shot, so I cannot comment on the mag length off the top of my head, but somebody here will be able to. Groups were good seated off the lands too (not sure of a measurement as to how far the jump was), but I just started seating out at the recommendation of a buddy and it's working for me, plus it allows a hair more case volume.

As for moly/non-moly, this is a matter of debate, and as I see it moly isn't hurting groups so it really can't be a negative, it can only be positive I suppose. Either way not much difference though...

For dies I heavily recommend Redding Competition Micrometer dies http://www.snipercountry.com/InReviews/ReddingCompDie.asp . Pretty much the standard by which others are judged.

I'm running at .020 off the lands, and i'm tight at 100M. My group is off
a remington 700, and rested. I'm hesitating doing the molly thing, just
because. It seems based on internet loads that by using molly, you can
get the same results with a slightly smaller load.
