Picked up some of this at an aution.

Any ideas what brand or manufacturer it is?

IIRC, it is Czech. Shot well. It may be corrosive.

Obviously manufactured in 1982 so almost 40 years old - hopefully stored in a cool dry place for all those years. Mil spec Primers appear to be sealed with some sort of red lacquer.

Interesting that it says 308 rather than 7.62 (obviously non Nato)

Definitely Czech. Their product was corrosive at least until the late 1970s, so as Tiriaq says, approach this with the assumption that it may be, as well.

As others have stated Czech (S&B), likely Berdan corrosive primers.

Czech clandestine export ammo.....lots went to clients in Africa. Definitely 1000% corrosive.....without a doubt.

If it's in a Greenish or blue box clean the heck out of your gun . bolt face barrel and all parts. had some of the either Czech or Yugo stuff many years ago . found it to be very corrosive . sorry I don't remember the head stamp .
