I've been using RL-17 with the heavier bullets from 185 to 208 grains. It's worked out very well so far, with some very good results.
At the 185 level I suggest starting from about 47 gr and working up carefully. I found a real good 208 load at 45.7 gr for my rifle (24" barrel) so maybe start at 45 gr and work from there.
Seating the bullet as long as possible is also a good idea because these are compressed loads, so having as much room in the case as possible is a good thing.
