I thought I read an ad for 308 Garands for sale from a dealer!!. Anyone know who it was?, I can't seem to find it now.

As Undergiver says, the add was from The Shooting Edge in Calgary.
The thread has been deleted though, so they might be all out of them. Better give them a call quick if you are thinking of getting one.

I ordered one on Friday, and it arrived on Tuesday morning,, not bad considering I live 4 provinces over. Great service.

The rifle is immaculate.
