Does anyone have any experience in making up some .308 blanks or suggested loads? In the past I've done up lots of .303, but now we're dealing with a new net gun for live capture and I'm not having much luck on getting suggested loads from the manufacturer! Best advice given was from some secretary that said "any fine grain powder"! Used to use Herco for the .303 but am out of it now, do have a good selection of other powders, but anything exotic or not standard is at least a 1500 kilo drive.

What if I take a round of bulk Norinco 150 gr copper wash ball, pull the bullet with a bullet puller, remove half the powder and then put a styrofoam plug in the neck?
