308 bullet how far off the lands?

Something is working right!
3 shot group at 1000 yrds under 12 inches, bottom 3. Top one is first shot at 1000. For this old-timer that’s a great start. Considering the wobbly bench I was shooting off.

Now its time to settle down and fine tune everything.
I'm having a blast, literally!

PS: I am debating on Forster vs Redding Competition dies...

Brutus 8 people recommended Redding Delux dies. I do too.
We had a 6 -8 km cross wind, but being in a bit of a revene it didn't disrupt the bullet flight. In other words I didn't change anything for windage, from 100 to 1000yds.
I got to watch the bullet flight today, vapour trail, raising 30 feet in the air and dropping down to the 1000yd target, that was cool.
I want to spend some more time behind the trigger with a variety of different bullets but my frozen hands after an hour shooting (-10)says get a heater, you thought I was going to say get back to work!!
Time to go load more cases.

Tie some marking tape off the target legs. Will surprise you how much wind there really is.
