.308 bullets?

bought a bag of these a t auction .308 dia 146-7 grains boat tail solid point with lead in bullet. Theyare pulled and were ashphalt sealed.. Wondering just for my info as to what they might have been loaded in? I plan to use them in my m305 norc.

If everything is as you say, you are good to go.
Looks like they were pulled out of surplus 7.62 x 51 because of the black sealant.

Someone probably pulled the cheap bullet and put a sierra match king back in.
I have bought and shot the leftovers a few times with no issues.

M80 ball. I load them for my Garand.

Use any 147-150gr load data for a spire point starting at start values and working up and you're good.

perfect bullets for your M305.

Load them upside down and they work well in a 30-30 tube magazine. Down load a bit for that.

nice. good ones then. original military load used ball c. I'm sure you could find it easy enough for blc2
