.308 French Giat/MAS FRF2 in Edmonton

I had 2 uncles wounded and my father deafened in that war while those cheese-eaters sat back and waited to see who was winning so they could join 'em,

Sounds like Team America joining WW1 & WW2 if you ask me

you may not remember as you may not have been in Bag-dad yet
.
No I haven't & couldn't care less either..However I've been overseas 3 times, hero. More than you'll ever go

I can give you plenty more feedback if you want...I had 2 uncles wounded and my father deafened in that war while those cheese-eaters sat back and waited to see who was winning so they could join 'em, you may not remember as you may not have been in Bag-dad yet.

The term "Bag dad" has nothing to do with Iraq......It means someone who is wet behind the ears.

 :bsFlag:

Sir, did you run out of medication?

You know whats funny guys, I've had many exchanges with French troops, played with the FAMAS lots but never saw this rifle or even asked about it.

From what I read on other forums, it ain't that great of a rifle but it works good!

Saw some legionnaires in SOF a while back, with McMillan .50's & the Para version of the Minimi.

So.....
Airborne, is this your rifle or was it at a gunshop? For sale, or just brought in to display?
How does this one shoot?

I haven't seen one of those rifles hands on but would love to.From what I have read on them they are very functional and robust for what they are designed to do. Not a rifle for shooting clay's at 1000yrds, but in the same token not one you would want to be on the recieving end of either. The owner of that rig has a nice collectors piece, and a good shooter.

LRC: If in town, I can arrange a special tour of the rifle at the infamous store, of course you'd have to let me know in advance...

I just may take you up on that offer. Im betting by the direction the cammera is pointed from the gun counter you wouldnt be to hard to find there. Had I known I would have said hi on my way to Summerland, I stopped in there for a few odds and ends for the shoot.
