I have a Breda M-1 that had been rebarrelled with a new barrel that sat idle for a few years. When I tried it out a few weeks back, it wouldn't throw the bolt back far enough to pick up the next round.
I didn't feel like fiddling with it and offered it up for sale at a realtively low price.
I had a few low ball offers and decided to keep it.
I did a google search for gas port hole sizes and found that most of the aftermarker 7,62 barrels were undersize at .080". This is fine for the .30/'06 but not for the 7,62.
You can go up to .106 for the 7,62. I opened up the gas port to .092 and it works 100% now.
It has put 4/4 SA ball surplus into one hole at fifty yards.
I sure won't be selling it now. I won't be selling my extra SA battle packs either.
