.308 Husky h-5000 rifle

I'm looking for some information on a gun that I just purchased. It's a 308 husky H-5000. I've figured out that it was produced by tradwinds/ husqvarna but I can't find any additional info about the barrel or if it's a good, accurate rifle. Can anybody help me out or point me in the right direction?

The H-5000 was the price leader (lowest cost) rifle in the Husqvarna line for North America. The barrel is a standard contour 22" long so it falls in between the lightweights and standard weights for barrel length. The stock has a Monte Carlo comb, but does not have a cheek piece. The receiver has a matte finish on the later examples versus the usual level of polishing on early guns. The trigger surface is smooth (no vertical grooves) like the 1640 trigger. This model was fairly popular, but I don't know how many were actually produced. IMHO, a lesser gun than the other US models.

"H-5000 Husky" was a Trademark owned by Tradewinds and that is how the Krico rifle comes into play. Irv Walentiny (the owner of Tradewinds) tried to sell me the Trademark in the early 1990's.

Baribal; I believe the timing of the switch to Krico was a little earlier, more like 1968 or so.
