I used to use Varget and Reloader 15 when it was readily available, but now all I can come across is Win 748 and CFE223. I want to load some accurate 150 grain and 168 grain bullets for my new Savage Model 10 but I have limited supplies of powder so can any of you part with your tried and true favorite recipe for either of these loads?
Thanks and tite groups!

Well i have never tried Win 748 or CFE223 but i can say Benchmark turned out to be a tack driver in my Savage 11 Trophy Hunter .308 with 165gr Sierra Game Kings (Soft Point).. 42.5gr(Max Load) but groups are 3/4 inch at 200 yards.

I'm finding it pretty easy to find Benchmark and have switched most of what I used H4895 before for to it. I'm able to get below 1/2" @ 100yds with 168gr BT/HP's in .308 out of my Rem700.
I recently tried some CFE223 in the same rifle and managed a ~3/4" group @ 100yds with Hornady 168gr match bullets.

I have in my load data spreadsheet listed a starting load of 46.6gr and a max load of 49 and it says it is from the Hodgdon website.
46gr shot that group but when I moved up to 47gr I got some stiff extractions so stopped there; had to pull my 48gr loads.

The data for Barnes TTSX are 41-45gr and I may give those a try with the lead core bullets since I got high pressure so early.

Most of the reviews online for CFE223 are that it provides mediocre at best copper fouling removal and lower accuracy than the usual powders (Varget, Re15, H/IMR4895, Benchmark, etc.)
My Rem700 copper fouls like crazy and CFE223 hasn't reduced it by any noticeable amount.
