Here is my last baby, BIG THANK'S to Peter from Hirsh and Casey from Tac Ordnance to help me build this tool

- Surgeon Action
- Krieger #17, 10 flutes SS barrel
- Vais brake
- Near alpha mount
- Mc Millan A5 with Rhino molded in camo
- PT&G bottom metal
- Jewell trigger
- New this morning NFX 5.5-25x56

Oh my that is lovely. I agree with sask, the rhino is dead ###y.

Question, what is your thinking on the muzzle porting? Cosmetic? Functional? Do you think it will impact accuracy?

His muzzle isn't ported. The specs read, "vais brake".

very nice by the way. Where'd you find the surgeon?
 
Thank's for all comments, i also like the rhino camo, i was to order something with desert color instead but, there is already a few around... Since i never saw a rhino, i decided to give it a try and i'am very satisfied
I have imported the surgeon my self, it's the 4th i import...
.
Must say i'am very impress with the PT&G bottom metal that Peter sold me, it's EXACTLY the same foot print as the Badger but hey, 169.00$ instead of 450ish is quite a deal...
 
Super nice build...I like. Would love to do something like that for myself in the future.

What is the barrel length and caliber?
 
Barrel have been fluted directly at Kreiger, they offer good service and man, they know what they talk about....
He only ask me what type of ammo i was to use, finished barrel lenght, what kind of chamber.... they proposed me a twist and 11 month later, it was ready loll

The barrel LOOK ported but, Casey at Tac Ordnance did a AWESOME job and you can barely see that it's NOT part of the barrel, as for accuracy, i have VAIS on other rifles and they are GREAT, not the best ( my Roedale is better ) but great brake...
 
I got the call today that my .260 build will ship out early next week. Just need to wait a few mor months for the McMillan A5 to show up.
