308 or 260 or......?

Will the 1-12" stabilize the 190 SMK? I have 3 boxes of them but my current 308 hates them. I also have a couple boxes of 185gr Bergers.

My 12 twist does. Actually getting good results with CFE223 under them too.

At my altitude the 12 is also on the edge for stabilizing a 208 amax. I have read of it being done successfully.

On the other hand my 6.5 project should be on the go in about 3 days once the bedding hardens and I finish the inlet for the mag.

308 is a great choice imo and will last a great many rounds , from what I have been told by some long time 308 shooters about 6 or 7 thousand rounds.
I usually shoot f-open but have put together a 308 for this season in case I show up to a match and there are no other f-open shooters.
