for all the ammo Pros/Reloaders/Ballistic specialis, is theresuch a thing as DAG 7.62MMx51/.308 German Training Ammo that supposedly goes 4000fps with low recoil? Is it legal in Canada?

Thanks....do you or anyone know if these work on varmints since some dont take much to whack and what kind of distance would they be good up to?

My practice/plinking ammo and set up: Rubber Mallet, Lee Classic Reloader 308, Campro 147gr, 40gr of IMR 3031 and the cheapest LR primers I can buy. I can load up a round in under 90 seconds anywhere.

As far as I can tell it basically a bb for training purposes, never seen it in real life. As per your other threads get some Winchester white box or specific varmint loads with Vmax, Blitzkings, Varmint grenades and be done with it.

what is your experience with Lee Classic Reloader 308? I'm looking to reload just so I can practice more

Minimum reloading $$ investment for cloverleaf groups with hunting bullets.

Almost everything in this video is transferable if you ever decide to go with a single stage, turret, progressive, etc down the road.

Fun for 20 or so rounds and then your back starts to hurt... heh.

I'm reloading with it right now at my cabin on my picnic table. Takes 90 seconds to load one round. I use this for my plinking rounds and the scoop that comes with it gives me 41gr of IMR 3031. Can't stop shooting my T3x Battue, it's so fun to shoot. Also allows my barrel to cool between shots.

I use my reloading bench for my accurate and precise hunting loads.

As video above for how to.

can be used for fired brass or it should be new? thanks

It only neck sizes so you should reload brass from the same rifle. Having said that I reloaded plinking round with brass from my Remington 700 and I had no feeding issues with the Tikka.

Now I have dedicated brass for my M700 and T3x.

Rubber mallet is a must.

If you don't use it, you are risking damage to the deprimer die.
Feel free to ask how I know...

the decapping tool broke after just 15 cases. I had to return it and probably I'll save some money and buy something better. I was a bit disappointed with Lee so most likely I'll stay away from this brand. I got what I paid :)

Do your decapped cases have one flash hole or a couple?
I have removed a whole bunch of primers with the Lee tool and never had a problem, AS LONG AS THEY WERE BOXER PRIMED.
You will break the pin on any decapping tool trying to remove a Berdan primer.

There is a bit of finesse required with this system.

Before you start hammer banging... I would suggest you get accustomed to the feel when the decapping tool is sitting in the primer pocket area instead of the case rim. If you are using a hammer and your decapping tool is outside of the primer hole, odds are high that you will break it. One of the reasons why rubber mallet is needed.

If it breaks, Lee will replace it. I found that you can use old computer precision screwdrivers to remove primers while you wait for the replacement. Simple fix, especially if you have them laying around and collecting dust.

Something similar to this;

I only see one hole. All cases are Winchester and hornady I've used and saved in the past.

And no, I didn't use a hammer when it happened.

I've used the Lee Classic for 7x57 Mauser and 270 Winchester hunting loads that have worked on game.

I have skipped the scoop though and bought a scale. It takes a little longer but I sincerely believe the powder is thus more accurately weighed.
