7.62X39 is .311 bullet.

7.62X51 is .308

ya i just dident know if it was the 51 or 39 but they are the same bullets the .308 and 7.62x51 right............. could i interchange them ?

I own 3 different .308 winchester rifles(2 m14s and a rem700 police) and fire both .308 win and 7.62x51 nato.....no problems!What gun were you putting it through?
