Actually, the .308 version has the 5 round belt limit. It's the origonal .30-06 that has no belt limit.

Greentips, is the M240 listed? I'm too lazy to look. :)
 
This is Just getting to the point of Stupidity. Are there any real answers to this problem? Is there a list of cool stuff that isn't restricted?

You seem to be under the mistaken assumption that gun laws need to make sense at some level. They don't need to, nor in fact do they. Yes, any AR-10 variant built after the original few are restricted. No, you can't have an FN (even if its built on a US made civilian semi auto lower that's never even passed the front door of a recruiting centre) Yes, you can can have a Chinese copy of the M14 (I know, that's not what you want) no, you can't have a real one.You can't have an AK either - or a Dragunov ( I know the two designs are not even somewhat similar in most respects). You can have a Valmet M-78 or Hunter, but not the other ones, even though they're almost identical to each other and the AK47. There is nothing here to understand and any attempt to understand or impose a logical framework on this piece of Sh*t legislation will probably give you an aneurism. Sorry we can't be more helpfull but really we get that it makes no sense - ask one of the guys with an HK 91 why he can't take it to the range but he doesn't need a range to shoot a Norc m305. Like a 147 grain 7.62 is somehow more dangerous out of an HK than it is out of a Norc. If you're gonna live here and be a shooter get used to it - and get out and vote against the numb b*st8rds who made this sh&t up.

end of rant....now back to our regular programming.

No please do not switch to de-caf, more people need to hear this. I have 3 FN's and an AK that are boat anchers in my cabinet right now.

I will begin again my requests for the legal use of my property in the new year. I can't wait to get a written "No" from the office downtown!!

I feel for ya buddy.

So is it like unwritten legislation or was it actually, formally decided that no ATTs would be granted for Prohibs?
