Have you reloaded Lake City or PPU?
Thanks.Yes.
The lake city I like for my AR10 because the web is thicker and can handle the abuse a little better.
PPU is decent brass too.
Aquila is crap imho, not worth reloading. PPU is good stuff, made in Serbia but the neck annealing is hit or miss so you might want to anneal the necks after the second or third reload due to inconsistent neck tension.
However, the Lake City is top grade U.S. milsurp made by Lake City Arsenal in Missouri. This would be my only choice...
Thanks for the info,I would go with PPU then.
It seems like little better then others.
if any of you have a good recipes for 1:10 twist savage 10tr with 150-168-175 gr projectiles?
I've experienced the same. Those rounds that actually fire do group nicely at 100 yards, but I'm not okay with the failure rate. I'll be trying Hirtenberger next.I bought 2 boxes of Aquila and had a couple rounds from each box not fire. I won’t be buying it again. Is hirtenberger ammo something you’ve tried also? I’ve had good experiences with it.
