.308 win powder suggestions

As the saying goes, 'if your .308 doesn't shoot well with IMR4895, then you have a rifle problem'. All of these are worth a try to see what works the best for your rifle; H4895, Varget, IMR3031, IMR4064, W748, and BLC2.

I've been using IMR-4064 because that is what was available....think I'll stick with it. :)

IMR-4064 worked wonders in the Parker Hale I once owned.
43 gens is the starting load for 150 grin bullets.
Iirc I only went up another grain and a half ...
2 inches at 100 yards was God enough for me back then.
IMR 4350,BLC was another option, but no idea what is available these days.

just out of curiosity where did you get your rl15? i have some that im keeping to use in the 375 ruger but none shown for the last 2.5 years ...?

I have used IMR 4895 and IMR 3031 for years. Switched to RE15 but that has dried up and I'm now using Varget. I found that RE15, 43 gns with a sierra 150 seated just off the lands, gave me a 3/4" group at 200 meters! (probably a fluke cause I've never been able to repeat that!!)
