Hello all i am wondering what you all would choose, I can get the Lake city ammo for 22 and change, while the Trophy Bonded Tip for 40.99, im thinking of the lake city because the brass is military, and can last longer as im told, but the federal is nickel plated, im torn between the two, and the shipping is more for the lake city, any advice on what one to choose?

I always thought Lake City ammo was military ball ammo only, ok for shooting paper but not animals. And of course the Federal "Trophy Bonded Tip" would be hunting ammo but would be expensive to shoot all day at paper targets.
From a reloading point of view the Lake City may be thicker and will have crimped primer pockets. On the other hand the nickel plated brass does flake off and it hard on dies.

i was thinking lake city was the military grade, but the federals is the same cost for 100 as the shipping for 100 once fired brass
