Okay, I loaded up some 150gr Nosler Part with CCI200 primers and IMR4895 powder. They all vary from 41.5gr to 44.0gr to find what load is most accurate.
Now I am trying to do the same thing for 165gr Nosler Part only I have run into a problem. My Speer reload manual does not list the min and max loads for the 165gr bullet and IMR4895 powder. Have done some internet searches and come up with a huge discrepency. Hodgdon sites list min at 42.7gr to max of 45.5gr. Nosler web site states for the 165gr Part a min of 39.0gr to a max of 43.0gr. IMR rifle data shows for the 165gr bullet a min of 42.7gr to a max of 45.5gr. I have also found powder charges of up to 47.0gr. WTF. I'm not trying to sent it at 3600fps or blow my face off.
Can any one shed some light on what they have for info in other manuals? I have only found my Speer reload manual#11 since my move.
