So i was looking for a thread on these mysterious robinson XCR .308 rifles that are supposedly coming out, and I couldnt find any recent info on an approximate time frame... Any one know when they are coming out?

I sent them an email at the end of last summer asking for a shelf date and barrel length. I received the usual responce of we are working on it as fast as we can and I think the barrel lenght was under 20" from what I recall. I was hopeing for 24" to 26".

yea a nice long barrel length would be preferable! does anyone know how accurate this thing can be at around 500 yrds?

Have you guys held a XCR-L with the 18.6" barrel. I don't think you will want a 24 or 26 inch barrel on a XCR-M after holding the XCR-L 18.6".

That link points to the 7.62x39 version of the XCR, which is not .308. The NATO equiv of .308 is 7.62x51.

That is not what they are talking about. That is an XCR-L in 7.62x39.

I had the pleasure of fingerb-ngin' the robinson xcr .308 at reliable gun although way out of my price range at the time being. I'm still drooling over it and if I did buy it me and my family would likely not eat for the next month!

The XCR-M (.308) doesn't exist yet, the gun you were "fingerb-ngin'" is the XCR-L (7.62x39) which was also linked above on the Wolverine website.

Don't hold your breath for the XCR-M, your looking about a year in the US and likely another year before they make it to Canada (if we're lucky).

Merch and POWERWAGON you are both correct I was wrong in the designation of caliber. I was just so blinded by love that I couldn't see straight as I held her in my hands. Can you blame though?
