I have some Winchester 748 I use for a .223 I was going to try it for my .308 but can't find any data. Is this just not used in larger calibers?
Any input would help.

you're just using the WRONG book- ww748 is a STAPLE in 308 win -there's loads of recipes on the net-

Ive looked at Hogden and they only show it for 150 gr bullets, and not in a Speer manual I have.

Hit the Winchester website for information, it is slowly but surely becoming a very , very good resource, you would be shocked by what chamberings are listed.(Hodgdon, IMR, and WW load data),yes your 748 is there.
