Now I know I am bring up a much asked question,And it might be better in the ammo section but as I am talking about using it in my norinco m14s and I am mainly looking to get some reloadable brass,And not knowing what pressures the win. ammo is loaded to and being aware that the pressure in 7.62 nato is somewhat lower.what is safe and what is not.I have some rem.150g psp that I got not cheap but considering the price of a box of good hunting ammo not bad.this also applys to a case or two of federal american eagle I got for my m1a.and in the same vane 30 06. for my Garand. Is it likely to cause a problem,or should I just shoot it in the M1A in order to get the brass for the norinco,as I know what the headspace is on that. and shoot the 3006 in my bolt action to get the brass for the garand.I have read a lot of posts that say shoot the 150g and don't worry about it but I also know there is a difference in the pressure.

Well to be perfecly honest with you the reloads are more dangerous to you than factory ammo in a garand or 14. Only thing you have to watch for in factory ammo is extended use of bullets over 165gr, causing wear on system over long term. Handloads can cause a plethora of problems. High primers.Incorrectly sized brass(I still do neck size with caution)Bullets too heavy.Powder charges too high or low for auto loader. Wrong powder for pressure curve. Not trying to be negative, just takes more care and consideration.
