Said this over at ###, figured you guys probably are interested too...

Ok, I only shot 50rds, so it's not a definite result.
But, those 50rds went bang every time, ejected every time, and the next round loaded every time.
It did not seem loaded hot, as it didn't seem to bash the carbine around.
Was quite enjoyable to shoot.

5/15rd KCI M1 Carbine magazine also of course worked flawlessly.

No idea of accuracy, was just shooting to check reliability.

yes i only fired off about 50-60 rounds and all fired pretty good. here's what it did to a piece of a 3mm? bracket/mount (the middle hole) from about 40m

The Tula .30 Carbine ammo worked well, but I did have an occasional fail to chamber that hasn't occurred with brass.
I'm going to upgrade my op spring, It is original & I'm pretty sure this is where the problem lies.

Another 50rnds downrange today, no failures of ammo(I have some bad magazines though) then I was carried away by the blackflies.

Well, that's not .30carbine though, but you should bother tula and see if they do anything about it and let us know

Yeah it's not .30, the round is 308 Win 7.62x51. Put that aside, it's still the make of ammo and there other product could have the same results. Who knows!

Have you even bothered to contact the distributor? Also why do you think you need to post in multiple places - especially here when this thread is about .30 carbine?

It could... but if winchester has a recall on their .22lr line up, I don't worry about the .223 ammo I have.

Some of the 308 Tula ammo i use will have primers almost work theyre way out when fired usually paired with a nice excess of Smoke when that happens. Cant seem to see if its wrong OAL or just over pressure. Happens in Multiple Bolt and Semi Autos. I am actually burning through this 1000 have maybe 200 left, 308 cause i want it gone too much wonkyness. The 223 is working perfectly tho

Why not start a new thread if you have some feedback on 308? This thread is about .30 carbine. May be all kinds of issues with other calibers but the purpose of this thread is feedback on .30 carbine.

Yes I did email the disturber. And yes I did share this in different places to warn some others of an issue that may be a safety issue. Don't you think that you would want to be warned about a product that may cause you harm. Or you do you want to find out yourself....
One company may use the same processes in all of their products.

No, it happened today, and it's a long weekend. Don't mean to take over a .30 post, just sharing a product safety issue. Wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. Inspect your ammo.

Toyota issued a recall on Corollas. Should I call the dealer to see if this recall affects my 4Runner?

No doubt you have some sort of problem with the 308 - either the ammo or the gun. But this thread is about .30 carbine and to date there has been no reports of case separation.

WTF guys! Someone tries to warn you about a potential hazard with the same manufacture of the title of this thread and all you can do is jump down his throat. Worried he might hijack your thread with five post in six months. There are twice as many posts telling him not to post here then there are about .30.

Do us all a favour and STFU! Get over your selfs and move on.

Ok keyboard tough guy. Let me try and explain this for you.

Thanks to J Ace for making a general post about the issues he had with the 308 Tula Ammo. If I had this occur, I would have done the same thing. What I don't really understand is why he decided to post in a .30 carbine ammo thread. Totally different ammo and I don't really see what they have in common other than the manufacturer. It would be exactly the same as if someone posted a warning in a thread about Winchester 9mm because they had a problem with Winchester .22 ammo. It simply is not that relevant as .308 and .30 carbine would have very different loading processes.

I am not trying to defend Tula Ammo as if they have a problem with their 308, they need to address it and again thanks to J Ace for making this known. However I don't think Tula Ammo should have to defend .30 carbine where there has been no reported issues.

I know this may be hard for you to understand but hope this helps.

Lol......Wow! Sorry JAce. I guess the only issue here is that you posted on a CGN COP'S post. YOU SHALL NOT POST! Anyway, thanks for the heads up as I was really on the fence about trying their ammo.
