I got no bites on this in the Optics subforum, so...

Anyone know the recommended height of the optical axis over the flat top for Swiss arms? I'm thinking about a 2.5-10x32mm NF scope.
I assume AR mounts would be too high.

Let me know what is working for you or any suggestions for ring or mount height.

You just need to clear the rifle rail. The scope eye piece will be the largest diameter piece so you would need to be have that diameter high plus a couple millimeters. I am pretty sure .885" rings would work, but 1.0" will for sure. AR rings would be about 1.5" high or more.

I'm running a 3.5-10x40mm Leupold in Medium rings on my flat top Black Special. There's enough clearance for the objective to clear so you should be fine with mediums on the 2.5-10x NXS.

I'd like to run low rings if it'll clear. Anyone have the OD of the front objective housing and the rear eyepiece of the 2.5-10x32 NF? I'm guessing it is around 35 mm or so?

Rick at ATRS runs one on his M14 and he is a stocking board sponsor. He could definitely help you there. Info might be on Nightforce's site too.
