30mm Talley LW's and 300/338 RUM ?

Recently ordered some 25 mm Talley lightweights and am very impressed. Now I want to put them on a couple of my "heavier" rifles!

Will the 30mm Talley lightweights withstand/keep my LR 30 mm tube scope secure with the recoil of my 300 RUM or 338 RUM ? These guns could use a bit of a diet.

The largest caliber I have used them in was a 300 WSM. I f I was to use them in the RUM's I would lap them in.
