Thinking of trying my luck with cheaper plated bullets and looking at the Campro and Berry's 123 spire point.
They are both in the similar price point to each other and both considerably cheaper compared to FMJ with the Campro's being a bit cheaper.
Assumption is that they'll need to be downloaded so they do not lead the barrel, but for paper and steel punching this is ok.
Looking to retain some semblance of accuracy, so question is...are these generally decent for plinking out to 200-300m, or a waste of time?
Take the plunge or stick to a known (although more expensive) quality with Hornady FMJs?
I'll be running them through a CZ600 and CZ527 and eventually a Maverick.
