.310 cadet

Any Cadet shooters here I am looking for assistance in reloading for .310 cadet. Any ideas or suggestion appreciated.

A 32-20 shell is only 5 thous smaller base diameter and is a little longer. If you can locate a set of dies, just shorten the shells and run them into the sizing die. You might have to hunt around a bit for a mold.

I believe it was either Ken Waters or Ross Seyfried who did an excellent article on the 310 cadet in either Rifle or Handloader magazine. Bertram brass for the 310Cadet is available from Austrailia ,imported by Huntington Die Specialties if you need factory brass, good luck, dale Z!

tough part might be finding a mold. Possibly open up a 32 pistol mold to .316

I think the original bullets were .315 or 6. Probably be wise to slug the bore.

Search around on the Castboolits site. The search engine there works.

IIRC, there was, maybe still is, and outfit in Australia that makes a mold for the Cadet.
Heeled bullet ? Cannot recall, and not gonna look it up right now.

There have been some of the group buy molds made available, have been made in some 'plus' sizes, particularly the NOE molds. May be worth checking out the Vendor Sponsor sub forum there, to see if they have anything in stock worth considering.
