Well its looking like I'll be the new owner of a mini Martini chambered in 310 Cadet.

now I've done some quick and dirty research on it and 310 was designed as a heeled bullet, around 120grn, but regular bullets will work for reloading.

It looks like 8mm / .323 bullets are what I'm going to need but I'll know after I slug the bore.

Now brass is another issue, but it looks like 32-20 brass trimed is the best option.

powder I'm thinking IMR4227 as its the same powder I'm using to load 577-450 for my full sized Martini rifles.

anyone with experience reloading for a 310 Cadet mini Martini ??

I've had one of these for several years and "never got around" to loading for it. I was going to get Ron Smith to rebarrel a spare barrel I have for .38/.357 but he has a long backlog- although if I'd had him do it when I first thought of it, I'd have been shooting it for some time now! Last year I decided I'd get one of the gorgeous moulds from Jim Allison of Cast Bullet Engineering in Australia:

Not cheap- around $150.00 by the time it got here, but I'm told these are the cat's ass. I have some brass (reformed 32-20) that I got a long tme ago (pre-ban) from Buffalo Arms. Now all I have to get is some casting equipment (Lee stuff, from the "factory outlet" guy down the road from Lee Precision) and some lead...

If you head over to the Martini-Henry Forum there should be folks there who will know all about the Cadet. There is also a "Cadet Reloading 101" thread over on the Cast Bullets website.
