.32-40 Brass

I do not think anyone will have it (at least conventional outlets)I have made my own by simply running 3030 brass through my 3240 dies well lubed of course. There is a slight difference in length but just set your bullet to get overall length correct.

Thirty-two forty can be made easily from .30-30, from .32 Special, from 38-55 and even from .375 Winchester, if you can find some. Very easy conversion, as several people have stated.

It can NOT be made from .303, NOR can it be sized from .30-40 Krag.

.32-40, .30-30, .32 Special, .38-55 all have a base diameter of .422" while the .303 and .30-40 both are considerably larger: .454 and .457 respectively.
.

Made lots from easiest to get 30-30 brass, can't see wasting good (& getting harder to find) 38-55 brass or 375w brass.
Nothing special required, simple lube, run thru size die...done.
Load bullet to correct OVAL which means of course the reg .32s bullet cannuler is in the wrong place, but my gun doesn't mind, shoots just as accurate :)

I have a set of 32-40 dies if interested. I have resized 30-30 brass for a friend. They work well. I do not have the gun any longer.

Geez, I wish I had seen this yesterday as I have already ordered a set of RCBS .32-40 Cowboy Dies from a local dealer (and paid for them). As a matter of fact I have a Winchester 94 in .38-55 already, which I already load for. Now I just need some range time to empty the casings.

"...almost as hard to get as..." Likely moreso. .30-40 Krag is only made seasonally by Winchester and Remington.
Epp's not have any ammo either?
