Ah, what!?!?

LOLOLOLOLO

Very nice ;)

Looks like I managed to score some 1,600 empty .32 ACP brass for $25 and shipping. That should keep me fed for a while... :)

f:P:

It is a fantastic little toy, a head turner at the range everytime I bring out the
.380 version

Why the facepalm? I said it's not the gun for me and it's not a menace to society, what's wrong with that? I didn't say it sucked - I'm sure most of you will have a blast with it :)

from my research , i found the piece that hold the bolt back is missing from my skorpion but i wonder why they left the other pieces of the rate reducer in ?

from USA:

I don't think the part is necessary for proper function. There is another hole there for a pin that is absent. This is why it is falling out.

Thats why

:weird:

Someone made a comment that the liberals are going to flip out over the gun. I'm a liberal, and I don't see what's wrong with it (from a public safety point of view). Sure it *looks* scary but it isn't at all. And yeah the thread it sort of meandering... but hey we are keeping civil at least so it's not too bad eh? And a lot of people got a cool gun! :D

Civil is the way it should be onhere, again it is only a forum not a debate. Very true, but no gun is a threat unless someone uses it in that manner and us Canucks need never worry if it is concealable or not.

None the less it is a very cool little toy. I love it and am considering picking another one up in the near future.

Curtton, why does your skorp say " pars int'l Houston, TX???
Mine doesnt or is that a photo off the web??

the upper of the two pics is from the US , mine is the lower pic .

Interesting, how come my reducer looks diff than yours?

its on backward bcos both my pin and that piece fell out and i didnt how it went back in but i do now.

i will be removing the reducer bcos its dead weight , it does nothing for a semi .

regardless of it lack firepower , i still wouldnt want to be hit with a 32 especially 5X.

Heck no! I wouldn't want to be hit by any bullet... And I'll fully concede the point that the user makes a big difference. I much would rather have an AK in the hands of a law abiding Canadian citizen than this gun in the hand of a "gansta".

...but I'm less worried about ganstas and other idiots getting their hands on this gun than on say, a .45 ACP with a double stack magazine. It does "look" scary but it's not looks that matter, it's function. This is the point I was trying to make, but oh well, another time eh?

So, for those of you who took it to the range, how accurate is this fine piece of Czech engineering anyway?

"Czech" ???? WTF !!!!! mine says "MADE IN YUGOSLAVIA".....did i misss something????

Well, they were made by Zastava...

Not a big surprise, because Yugoslavia, and later, Serbia used them as well.

According to wikipedia, they were also used by Uganda, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Angola, Egypt, Mozambique, Libya and Iraq.

A well traveled little gun, and probably the best known Czech designed weapon.

Czech designed CZ61, licensed to Zastava, a Serbian company. To answer your question, I was pleasantly surprised at it's accuracy... Fun little rifle! Also great to shoot as a pistol, with the stock folded over. Just sold my 2nd Skorpion to a lucky buyer...
