What rifles takes this cal? it was used in a Mauser 1914 semi-auto pistol, not to great for hunting.

No rifle uses that ammo. Some SMG's like the Skorpion do.

However, there are sub-calibre adaptors that allow the use of the .32 in some .30 caliber centrerfire rifles.

Thanks for the link Tony it was very informative, although those aren't my style of firearm it's nice to see those little bullets being put to good use.:D
Were those modified from another cal?

Since SMG are out of the question l'll be looking into that conversion you mentioned Stevo, thanks.

^Yes, with a gun like that you would be able to 'get moose and squirrel'. . . :D

Great suggestions guys, much appreciated.

Do custom barrels need a special permit to order? if l wanted to take something with a 4"barrel and have a 20 or 24" made to replace it, is that legal ?

l remember seeing this years ago, a revolver with a rifle stock and a 20'' barrel.

Gaillard is one company that makes barrels in Canada, I don't know if they make custom profiles. If you get a barrel from the USA it requires an International Import Certificate (Canadian document) and the company then applies for an export permit (American document). Of course you might be able to get the whole deal taken care of by Questar. If you are trying to change the classification of a pistol, that is not my forte so to speak.

Thanks JMJ, for guys like me who have never seen an adapter of this kind those shots go's along way in explaining this gadget..l love gadgets..

Any chance of seeing an inside shot?

l wonder if this adapter would take these fmj's?
