I saw your post under Exchange of Factory Ammo &c but for some reason, I'm unable to post a reply there so this will include info. for both posts.
You are right. This may be your most difficult project so far (a bigger challenge is to make ammo. for a 22 JGR). I now successfully reload 32 Colt for my Marlin 1892 rifles. Here's what is possible. Order 32 Short Colt dies (Short Colt will do both 32 Long Colt and 32 Short Colt but not vice versa) from CH Tool & Die in Ohio. http://www.ch4d.com/ Group F $78.25 U.S.
Old West Bullet Moulds http://www.oldwestbulletmoulds.com/ makes an excellent brass double cavity heel mould of the Lyman 299153 90 gr. design. You will have to email them as to what it costs to get it to you. Also, they have a crimping die and extended shell holder available. The crimping die is a modified Lee factory crimp die that does a great job of crimping. You probably realize that you can't crimp these cartridges with a regular crimp die because of the design of the heel bullet. Now for brass. You have to get some somehow. (I made a fortunate buy at Le Barons 10 years ago when I saw a box sitting at the checkout display for $13. Ain't never gonna happen again). I believe Old Western Scrounger has some but you can't get it over the border unless you do it through a dealer. I don't know where you are located but Epps in Orillia may be able to get it for you. One thing for sure, it isn't going to be cheap. There are a very few posts on the internet on making it from 32 S&W but I don't know how successful this is as somehow, the tough brass base has to be reduced also. Sonewhere on a forum I saw that one fellow had a simple homemade device for cutting the base of PB lead bullets to make a recess for a gas check. The same idea could be used to make heel bullets from PB 32 lead bullets. PM me if you require further info. Also where are you located as we may be able to get together for a casting session, etc.
