How does 32Rem compare to 30-30 or 348/38-55, 38-40 or the like? Reloading isn't an issue for me and I found an old Maynard I believe it is clambered for this round.

I believe the .32 Rem. is pretty close, if not totally identical, to .32 Win. Spl. loads. It's just in a different, rimless case. slightly larger bullet moving at slightly more velocity than the .30-30.
