.32 remington

Hi folks, AR guys would not answer this question, but I be you guys can!
Can I use .32 winchester dies to reload .32 Remington ammo? If so, what shell holder?

Not .32 WCF.....32 Win. Special should work.....Shell holder #9 RCBS, #5 Redding,Lyman#8.....165 gr. and 205gr. cast bullets avail. MT. Chambers Supply!

Hi Papaniel...My books say that a .32 Win. Special has a base dia. of .506" and uses a Lyman #6 shell holder. it is also a rimmed case. A .32 Remington has a base dia. of .422" and uses a Layman #15 or #3 shell holder. It is a rimless case, a little smaller than the 30-06/308 bases. Hope that helps you....Ken

I have 32 rem dies and shellholder , brass too.

The bases are very diff. of course , but the case is virtually the same otherwise!

I have a 14 in 32 rem actually I have all 4 cals.I can lend you the dies til the Battleford show and you can give them back then or Senlac if you need them longer.
