Hey all, I tried searching with no luck.

Iv recently been bitten by the antique bug, trying to educate myself on the availability of various cartridges. .32 rimfire...uncommon - at least seems that way, is it available readily?

Thanks, T

Hi yes Navy Arms made this cartridge years ago back in the 80's. Gunshows sometimes carry it for $2 to $3 a piece not very common up here in Canada. Check the EE sometimes you might get lucky. Good Luck finding some. You can make your own by using 32 Short Colt brass then drilling out the rim part of the brass i forget which drill size then using the Hilti # 27 ramset shell with a 32 calibre lead ball and a bit of powder it only works in some guns i know they wont work in a Old S&W Model 1 1/2 there not much clearance between the cylinder and the recoil shield if this helps..

You mean this stuff?

Yes, that's 56 boxes of 32 RF. Yes, they are mine. No, they are not for sale.
Sorry, I get a diabolical pleasure from posting pics of stuff people want that's not for sale!

no powder added that can cause some problems. a brown .27 cal blank and a round ball is all thats needed

I only have 500 rounds of 32rf in my personal stash, the sad part is even though its enough to have fun the more expensive it gets the less I want to shoot it.
Those are some fine revolvers you have there 8 ball.

Antique pistols, and ammunition for them.
Completely legal.

Along the same lines as posting photos of a hoard of .32RF ammunition, did I ever mention that I was given 47 boxes of .303 Savage ammunition?

Agreed. And because some of the .32rf revolvers were made before and after the cutoff date, could be a bit of a minefield.

Remington derringers have three types of markings. One type is pre-98, the second spans the date, the third is modern.
