I've also seen mention of using black powder for the older Iver Johnson revolvers. How old is it??

This is not my data so I assume no liability. Would help if your friend had a chronograph while you're testing just to see where the velocity is at. Good luck.

I load 1.5 gr 7625 under the lead SWC. Goes bang. I think I used the 32 ACP start data.

Mine turned out to be a black powder design. Depends on the owl icon on the grips that determine if it is black powder or smokeless. Because of mine being only designed for black powder, I have not attempted to shoot it with low power smokeless. Make sure you know for sure if it has been designed for smokeless.
