I have a chance to pick up a pre-'64 Win '94 in .32 Win Spcl for a really good price. The only thing thats stopping me is that all the data I can find only lists a 170grn bullet and it seems rather wimpy even compared to some factory loads. Does anyone have any links to some data that will put it the 2,200-2,500fps range? I know it's not the best cartridge in the world but there has to be some decent data out there for it.

Thanks

Tim

Special enjoyment

The .32 Special is not safely capable of reaching more then approx. 2200 fps...Enjoy the pre'64 model 94 for what it is.....a fine old gun and a fine old caliber....I would suggest a step in the other direction.....light loads and cast bullets....if you need more horse power buy a lever gun chambered for a bigger round with more case capacity as the .32 special uses the same case as the 30/30.

Ok I guess I might not beable to get what I want out of it. What about a 150 jacketed flat point bullet, or is the 170grn the only one thats avaliable in that bore dia.? I've done some searching threw my limited supply of reloading manuals and cant find anything.

Thanks again
Tim
