.32 Winchester Spl loads

Anybody out there roll their own for this cartridge? I'm interested in what bullet/powder combos are working well for .32 shooters. Any range/chrony/on game reports out there?

The powders that work well for 170 gr 30-30 seem to be good for the 32s as well. If needed you can use 30-30 brass as 32 is getting rare. Brass life will be very short unless you neck size as little as possible. Just enough to chamber with a slight force.

Yep most powders work fine in eighter cartridge but 3031 is probably an old stand-by

I used IMR 4064 with a 170 gr bullet and shot a couple of moose with them a few years back. They appeared to work just fine.

I use IMR 3031 powder and have never had a complaint

H4895 is also a good one. 170gr FPs are about all you can get. They may have the FTXs though.

factory 32 spcl ammo

Don't mean to hijack but I no longer own a 32 spcl. (since I moved away from Manitoulin area) but still have 12 boxes of ammo for sale. I am near Calgary
