where can i buy jacketed bullets suitable for 32 special or 32 40? they seem hard to find

Hornady still makes them I think. Your dealer should be able to order them from Korth.

I'm on the xreload site right now and they show stock on both Hornady and Speer 170gr. .321 dia bullets.
As mentioned above you can find some real deals sometimes at gunshows as well.

The speer 170 worked ok in 32 spl but not so much in 32-40, zero expansion at 32-40 velocities.

I used to use xreload but their new website is terrible on mobile devices so much i dont even bother with them
