Go to Cartridges of the World, they show data for all the old Win cartridges.........it's a "must have" book if only for this data. I load both of mine with jacketed bullets, one likes Horn 250 RN and the other likes the 200 gn FTX. I find CotW to be very useful as they always give a load that matches the original loading for the cartridge and then usually a couple other loads and weights as well. All my old Wins have proven to be totally safe with the data published there and I never push them beyond this.

In my old Lyman Handbook of Cast Bullets (page 134) they list bullet #338320 (gas check) with 36 grs of 3031.
Thanks for your time and the loads for my rifle. A few years back I gave most of my books and bullet moulds away ,and then for some reason I decided to start shooting again.Lucky for me I poured about 400 .33 and the same in 38-55. bullets Thanks again Dale
