I actually, and I am admitting this fully, bought a brand spankin new Remlin 30-30 336W and it is actually the nicest marlin lever I have seen or owned. Freaky huh.
I have owned about 9 or so pre-rem marlins over a period of about 20 years, and this one is the smoothest, and nicest finished one I have held. I took it out shooting the other evening (mounted a Burris FF11 3-9x40) and it was hitting .80" to 1.1" at 75 yards with a rest and one type of factory ammo. (winchester 150gr bonded hollow point stuff) I must say, that this is staying in my possession. Cant wait to try the Leverevolution stuff in it at longer range.
